My flipbook project had a lot of meaning to me. I wanted to create my sticky notes to portray a story. Since I feel like art mimics life, (ha ha) I decided to draw out something person and turn my feelings into art. This is really important to me, and frankly I believe this is one of my best projects and creations yet.

I wanted to tell you that I really loved your animation. Out of everyone’s, and they were all good; yours was the most thought provoking for me. Art is so personal, whether it is humorous, serious or makes a statement. The art we create is part of who we are, our thoughts, our hands at work, but when we put our heart into it too it becomes something more. I love the simplicity of the stick figures in contrast to the complexity of the emotion. It is so relatable and it transcends time. Thank you for reminding me that “I am enough!”
